About the position

The Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 at Northrop Grumman is responsible for overseeing the classified IT infrastructure and leading a geographically dispersed team of systems administrators, network engineers, and desktop technicians. This role requires a strong management approach combined with technical understanding, focusing on program management to ensure the delivery of services that meet customer needs. The position involves interfacing with various levels of management and developing program plans to ensure processes are documented and followed.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day hands-on administration of the classified IT infrastructure.
• Lead a geographically dispersed team of systems administrators, network engineers, and desktop technicians.
• Interface with sector CIOs, their staff, sector program managers, and executive leadership.
• Develop program plans and milestones and successfully deliver on them.
• Ensure processes are documented and followed, maintaining service availability and relevance.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with 7 years (Master's) or 9 years (Bachelor's) of experience.
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI level security clearance.
• Minimum 3 years' project management experience.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, RMF, and JSIG standards.
• Experience performing operations in an Agile framework.
• Experience giving technical presentations to technical and non-technical attendees.
• Active vendor-based IT certification.
• Experience performing systems administration of Windows or Linux servers.
• Active Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 IAM Level I or II security certification.
