About the position

The Manager, Consolidation & Fulfillment Operations is responsible for overseeing the performance of fulfillment and production operations, which includes managing transportation routing, customer service, and inventory control. This role involves planning and organizing staff, directing production and warehouse activities, and ensuring that company objectives related to cost, productivity, customer service, and profit are met.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize staff for production, warehouse, and transportation activities.
  • Select, train, and motivate the workforce.
  • Assist the General Manager in establishing performance objectives for warehouse and manufacturing.
  • Accountable for achieving company objectives regarding cost, productivity, customer service, and profit.
  • Manage and supervise Team Leads, skilled and unskilled Production employees, Warehouse Workers, Material Operators, Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Control Clerks, and Customer Service Representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of production, warehouse, and logistics experience, or equivalent combinations of education and/or direct experience.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing/production environment, 3PL, warehousing, and/or logistics management.
  • General supervisory experience.
  • Excellent systems skills.
  • Skills in planning, staffing, budgeting, organizing, and communicating.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships and provide leadership.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a senior level operations leadership role.
  • Strong management and labor control skills.
