The Manager, Content & Communications role at Hexagon is pivotal in shaping and communicating the company's narrative to both internal and external audiences. This position requires strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills to ensure a consistent brand voice across various channels. The role involves managing content creation, overseeing communication strategies, and leading a small team to enhance Hexagon's positioning as a thought leader in the mining industry. The successful candidate will work closely with media and stakeholders to promote Hexagon's innovations and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage external and internal communications, content creation, and storytelling.
  • Brainstorm and transform ideas into stories for various marketing materials.
  • Identify opportunities to promote Hexagon's leadership and innovation.
  • Develop content needs to support identified opportunities and ideas.
  • Create and execute omnichannel campaigns with prioritized messaging and storytelling.
  • Plan the editorial calendar, including media sponsorships and content-related investments.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders in executing plans.
  • Ensure content consistency and brand compliance across all channels.
  • Steward the brand voice to define and differentiate Hexagon's personality.
  • Develop and exemplify standards and processes for content creation, distribution, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous work experience in the mining industry.
  • Based in Tucson, AZ with the ability to work onsite 3 days/week.
  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Strong knowledge of grammar, writing, and style with a focus on editing and consistency.
  • B2B copywriting experience across multiple communications channels.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-geo, cross-cultural environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to write and manage the creation of SEO keyword-driven copy.
