About the position

The Manager, Content Design (Sports) at Roc Nation is responsible for creating engaging video and creative content for athletes' digital channels. This role focuses on elevating the visual storytelling of clients' brands and requires strong skills in video production and graphic design. The position is integral to the Digital Sports Team and involves collaboration with various teams to produce content that aligns with brand strategies and enhances social media presence.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, and edit deliverables for Roc Nation Sports owned and operated and talents' social channels.
• Develop new ideas, storyboard and pitch creative video solutions for production.
• Create unique graphics and videos for RNS O&O and talents' social channels.
• Adopt talent tone to manage asset needs, focusing on analytical growth through engaging content.
• Develop content ideas that support positive growth of talent social media profiles, in line with brand strategy.
• Work closely with the Sports digital team on producing relevant assets for amplification around talents' key moments of activity.
• Research and monitor competitor activity and engage in industry conversations to identify best practices.
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing & Strategy team on asset needs for client announcements and agency philanthropic activities.
• Manage creation, curation, and updating of material for internal and external usage, including storyboards and pitch decks.
• Develop concepts and graphics related to talent logos and websites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years working within a design department or creative team environment.
• Extreme attention to detail and consistency.
• Strong skill set in Graphic Design Curation and Adobe Creative Cloud Programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of visual design, layout, color, and typography theory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Strong knowledge and passion for the Sports industry and future trends.
