About the position

FLYR is seeking an experienced Content Marketer to join its marketing and communications team. This role focuses on creating and maximizing impactful, high-quality content across various channels and audiences. The ideal candidate will be a skilled writer and content strategist, capable of simplifying complex topics into engaging narratives. Collaboration with key partners in marketing, sales, and product is essential to drive business outcomes and enhance the company's thought leadership in the travel industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and execution of a content plan that positions FLYR as a thought leader and drives business outcomes.
  • Produce and oversee the development of high-impact thought leadership content including executive bylines, blogs, event content, presentation scripts, video scripts, social media posts, case studies, and email campaigns.
  • Coordinate with business partners including marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams to create impactful content that supports key initiatives and resonates with the audience.
  • Own the editorial calendar, ensuring content aligns with product launches, campaigns, and industry trends.
  • Create SEO-optimized content to improve organic search performance and traffic.
  • Measure and optimize content performance using analytics tools to refine strategies for engaging key target audiences.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience writing for a B2B business in the tech, hospitality, and/or aviation industry in a marketing, communications, or journalism role.
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Excellent writing skills and a deep understanding of developing effective messaging, narratives, and various content types.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to own and drive deliverables from start to finish.
  • Ability to distill and position complex technology concepts for varying audiences.
  • Proven track record of driving audience engagement and growth through strategic content marketing.
  • Familiarity with the aviation and/or hospitality industries is a plus.
