About the position

The Manager of Content Operations is responsible for overseeing the content operations team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all web content for United Parks & Resorts park brands and corporate enterprises. This role involves implementing digital marketing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining website content to support in-park and ecommerce initiatives. The manager will also report on online activity and trends, ensuring alignment with business goals and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the content operations team to ensure all web content is accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Implement the digital marketing strategy for United Parks & Resorts park brands and corporate enterprises.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and communicate necessary information for successful execution of online strategies.
  • Build and maintain all website content, ensuring updates are made according to established specifications and timeframes.
  • Organize and maintain a calendar for park's attraction updates, landing pages, and special microsite initiatives.
  • Collaborate with third-party agencies and corporate teams to implement best practices for SEO within content and structure.
  • Work with the app team for new development and content implementation.
  • Collaborate with IT on improvements to Sitecore to enhance team production.
  • Report on online activity, trends, and performance of park websites.
  • Maintain awareness of digital marketing trends and their implications for marketing to target consumers.
  • Align business goals with Park and Corporate leadership teams to create online content supporting campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide updates to marketing leadership with analysis of key metrics associated with core projects.
  • Partner with park marketing teams to ensure consistency in consumer experience across digital sales channels.
  • Attend weekly meetings for website and mobile app performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related business field.
  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Experience in marketing strategy and digital marketing, specifically website content management.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and product/campaign performance analysis.
  • Enthusiastic and confident change-agent.
