Responsibilities
- Negotiate national agreements for purchased services.
- Manage project timelines for assigned categories with guidance from the manager.
- Develop strategies for sourcing initiatives and risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct market research and prepare bids, RFIs, and RFPs.
- Oversee supplier relationships during the sourcing process and participate in business reviews.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding project status and negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, or Finance.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of contract management and supply chain operations.
- Experience in healthcare is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in negotiating contracts in clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Familiarity with materials management and purchasing.
