About the position

Delek US Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Brentwood, TN. This position is ideal for a self-starter who can work autonomously while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial statements. The Corporate Accounting Manager will report directly to the Director of Corporate Accounting and will play a crucial role in compliance with SEC regulations, managing the corporate accounting close processes, and providing leadership to the corporate accounting team. The successful candidate will have significant experience in accounting and financial statement analysis, as well as proficiency with ERP systems. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing corporate accounting, ensuring that all transactions and balances are recorded accurately and timely in the general ledger system, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You will coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, perform analysis of actuals to comparative periods and budgets to ensure the integrity of financial results, and ensure compliance with internal controls and business processes. Additionally, you will supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing feedback and training. The Corporate Accounting Manager will also collaborate cross-functionally to meet organizational goals, focusing on process improvement aimed at optimizing automation and efficiency. This position requires excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Oversee corporate accounting, ensuring transactions and balances are recorded accurately and timely in the general ledger system.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Perform analysis of actuals to comparative periods and budgets to ensure the integrity of financial results.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and business processes.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing feedback and training.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet organizational goals and implement best-in-class processes.
  • Drive process improvement aimed at optimizing automation and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (Required)
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in a related field (Required)
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, Excel, and other applicable reporting tools (Required)
  • Experience with Accounting Software (SAP preferred)
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (Preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently.
