About the position

The Manager of Social Media Communications at PVH is a pivotal role designed for an experienced social media communications expert. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that drive engagement and craft compelling narratives to align, inspire, and engage PVH's diverse audiences across various social media platforms. The successful candidate will oversee the creation, execution, and management of social media content and campaigns that not only elevate the company's brand but also promote its core values and enhance its corporate reputation. Reporting directly to the VP of External Communications, this role will collaborate closely with PVH's executive, brand, regional, and functional teams to shape corporate culture and drive high performance. The Manager will play a crucial role in building Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into the most desirable lifestyle brands globally, contributing to PVH's status as one of the highest-performing brand groups in its sector. In this role, the Manager will engage in strategy development and execution, working alongside the VP of External Communications to create next-generation social media communications strategies that connect PVH followers to the company. This includes protecting and enhancing the corporate reputation, driving engagement, growing consumer loyalty, and supporting overarching business objectives. The Manager will be responsible for content creation, ensuring that all social media content—including text, images, videos, and graphics—aligns with PVH's brand voice and inspires audiences across all platforms. Additionally, the Manager will develop and maintain an editorial calendar to enhance audience growth and engagement, collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify PVH's voice, and manage community interactions to foster a positive online environment. Staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations in social media will be essential, as will analyzing performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify actionable insights. The role also involves identifying opportunities for PVH to engage in relevant social media conversations, promoting company culture and values, and communicating effectively across all organizational levels. An entrepreneurial mindset and a data-driven approach will be crucial for continuously testing and evolving programming to achieve improved results over time.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP of External Communications to build and launch next-generation social media communications strategies.
  • Create and execute engaging social media content including text, images, videos, and graphics.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to enhance audience growth and engagement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to amplify the voice of PVH and ensure consistent storytelling.
  • Monitor, engage, and build relationships with followers on all social media platforms.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in social media and incorporate them into the strategy.
  • Analyze and establish performance metrics to measure social platform effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Identify relevant social media conversations and opportunities for PVH to engage meaningfully.
  • Celebrate company culture and promote PVH values through social media communications.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leverage an entrepreneurial mindset and data-driven approach to continuously test and iterate programming.
  • Manage ambiguous and challenging tasks, taking initiative to meet competitive deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in social media within a global role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in building and executing content creation and innovative social media strategies across PVH platforms.
  • Deep understanding of how key social media platforms and their respective algorithms work.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear communications.
  • Strong knowledge of best-in-class social media communications practices and proficiency with next-generation communications tools.
  • Ability to articulate and represent the voice of PVH and its leaders.
  • Proficiency in social media and digital tools such as self-filming, Canva, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Meltwater, etc.
  • Demonstrated learning mindset, critical thinking skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Confidence working alongside senior executives in fast-paced, high-stakes situations.
  • Ability to roll up one's sleeves and execute, with a track record of producing excellent results.
  • Hyper attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Successful at relationship building and collaborating across a highly matrixed global environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect business goals with communications strategies.
