About the position

The Manager, Customer Success at Datadog is responsible for leading, coaching, and managing a team of Customer Success Managers. This role focuses on enhancing customer relationships, ensuring renewals, and driving growth within the existing customer base. The position emphasizes a customer-first approach and aims to foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to the company's mission of enabling digital transformation and cloud migration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, mentor, and train a team of Customer Success Managers.
  • Coach the team to proactively work with customers to find expansion opportunities and increase loyalty and retention.
  • Identify and qualify growth opportunities for added value within smaller customers and assigned accounts, ensuring high retention and renewal rates.
  • Serve as an escalation point between customers and internal Datadog teams to ensure customer success and adoption.
  • Act as an internal advocate for customers, prioritizing their best interests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Customer Success or Account Management role in the SaaS space.
  • Experience in managing a high-performing team of Customer Success Managers.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on customer-first interactions.
  • Ability to complete and influence the full cycle sales process.
  • Strong multi-task management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably knowledgeable about the B2B tech space or subscription-based software.
