About the position

The Manager, Customer Supply Chain plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales Vice Presidents by coordinating supply chain activities that ensure superior on-shelf availability (Instock) and On Time-In Full (OTIF) service. This position is essential for achieving the sales and profit objectives of the organization. The Manager will lead the assessment of both external and internal customer supply chain measurements, focusing on metrics such as on-shelf availability, OTIF service, and Cost to Serve. The goal is to align these metrics with the overall selling and profit objectives of the company. In this role, the Manager will interpret and communicate results across various functions, developing and deploying action plans for improvement where necessary. A deep understanding of customer product supply requirements is vital, as the Manager will need to integrate these requirements with Supply Chain functions, including Demand and Supply Planning, Warehousing, Transportation, and Order Management. Acting as the single point of contact between Sales and Supply Chain, the Manager will ensure effective coordination from the translation of sales plans into operational execution. Additionally, the Manager will partner with customers to create tailored supply chain plans and strategies that add value. Taking ownership of performance opportunities, the Manager will create and implement actions for improvement. Coordination of Hain Supply Chain preparedness for customer events, such as promotions, new product introductions, and changes in distribution, will also be a key responsibility. The role requires effective communication across functions to ensure understanding and alignment on objectives and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment of external and internal customer supply chain measurements including on-shelf availability (Instock), On Time-In Full (OTIF) service, and Cost to Serve.
  • Interpret and communicate results cross functionally, develop and deploy action plans for improvement where necessary.
  • Understand Customer product supply requirements, interpret and integrate with Supply Chain functions including Demand and Supply Planning, Warehousing, Transportation, and Order Management.
  • Act as the single point of contact between Sales and Supply Chain to ensure effective and efficient coordination from translation of sales plans into operational execution.
  • Partner with our Customers to create value through tailored supply chain plans and strategies.
  • Take ownership of performance opportunities, create and deploy actions for improvement.
  • Coordinate Hain Supply Chain preparedness for Customer events including promotions, new product introduction, and changes in distribution.
  • Communicate cross functionally for understanding and alignment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or other technical degree is required; MBA preferred; APICS certification a plus.
  • 5 years Supply Chain, Product Supply, or Operations experience; Food or Consumer Products industries preferred.
  • Walmart and/or Club experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness with Microsoft Office/Office 365 (Excel, Power BI, Word, Power Point, Viva Engage) and Retailer data portals (Retail Link, Luminate).
  • Ability to effectively engage and collaborate across functions, including Supply Chain, Sales, Brand, Trade Marketing, and Finance.
  • Strong strategic planning and tactical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet constant deadlines with strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively in person and writing.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project coordination experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Food or Consumer Products industries.
  • Familiarity with Walmart and/or Club operations.
