About the position

Colgate-Palmolive Company is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Data Adoption and Change Management to lead transformational change initiatives within the organization. This role is pivotal in fostering a data-driven culture across the company, ensuring that data is treated as a strategic asset. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement change management strategies that align with the company's strategic objectives. The position is hybrid, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work, and requires up to 10% travel. In this role, the manager will contribute to the development of strategies that transform the organization by leveraging change management methodologies and tools. They will be responsible for enabling the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications related to data initiatives. Conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key decision-makers will be essential tasks. The manager will also participate in designing and delivering training programs and workshops, ensuring that all customer interactions and touchpoints are effectively managed. A critical aspect of this position involves identifying and addressing anticipated resistance to change. The manager will develop plans to mitigate risks and facilitate change management activities with team members and stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of changes. Additionally, they will create and implement measurement systems to track the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes related to data governance and management.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategy development to transform the organization using change management methodologies.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key decision makers.
  • Participate in the design and delivery of training programs and workshops.
  • Identify and work through anticipated resistance to change and develop plans to mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders.
  • Create and implement measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational psychology, education, or a similar field.
  • 6-8 years of proven experience in driving large transformational change in multinational organizations.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci ADKAR Model, Kotter's 8-Step Change Model).
  • Knowledge of workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, program and project management, and adult education.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
