About the position

As an Analytics Manager for Zynga Poker, you will lead a team focused on driving business impact through data analytics. Your role will involve collaborating with product leaders to enhance game engagement, retention, and revenue while fostering a positive team culture that encourages innovation and growth. You will oversee the technical direction of projects, prioritize workflows, and ensure the delivery of analytic solutions that adapt to the evolving needs of Zynga's player base.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partner teams to define areas of opportunity and set priorities
• Work with team leadership to plan the roadmap and drive initiatives
• Coordinate with project management to ensure efficient prioritization
• Develop talent and steer career growth within the team
• Supervise the larger technical direction of projects
• Contribute expertise in product ideation and development
• Enforce standard methodologies in developing all analytics tools and models
• Design and evaluate innovative ways to advance analytics at Zynga

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with machine learning, data mining, predictive modeling, statistics, experimental design, computational analytics/optimization, data visualization
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; comfortable explaining technical topics to non-technical users
• Experience building and executing against a roadmap of strategic initiatives
• 5+ years of work experience in data science, machine learning or analytics roles
• 1+ years of work experience in people management
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field; Masters or PhD strongly preferred
