About The Position

The Manager, Data Engineering & Reporting plays a key role in the IT department, overseeing data integration, ELT pipelines, and reporting development. This hands-on technical management position involves collaborating with various teams—including IT, Finance, Sales, and Procurement—to enhance and maintain enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will support the development of a data warehouse and integrations to ensure the business has access to accurate, timely, and complete data for informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering Snowflake or similar cloud-based data solutions.
  • Expertise in developing data visualizations and dashboards for executive-level reporting.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience in data modeling (relational and star schemas).
  • Hands-on experience in master data management and governance in complex system environments.
  • Practical experience with DevOps, including Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including gathering requirements, documenting processes, and conducting unit testing.
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM (Salesforce), and financial/consolidation systems is a plus.
  • Background in manufacturing and/or sales processes is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% domestically or globally.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a scalable and efficient enterprise data warehouse for optimized data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Oversee and execute ELT processes to ensure seamless data movement between multiple systems, including CRM, ERP, financial platforms, and other business applications.
  • Maintain a single, accurate, and reliable source of truth for key data entities such as customers, products, and suppliers.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, privacy, and overall governance.
  • Continuously assess system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Oversee third-party service providers and technology partners.
  • Manage project backlogs, develop plans, and execute initiatives related to data warehousing and master data management.
  • Support and contribute to the ongoing development of the organization's data platform strategy.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business needs, working closely with stakeholders to define system requirements.
