We are looking for a Manager, Data Engineering at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to design and implement data solutions best-suited to deliver on our needs and use cases — from streaming to data lakes, to analytics, and beyond across a progressively evolving technical stack. In this role, you will provide thought leadership by recommending the right technologies and solutions for a given use case, from the application layer to infrastructure. You will need to possess both leadership and coding skills (e.g. Python, Java, and Scala) to get solutions into production while ensuring performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration. Your success will be driven in a collaborative way, communicating insights for identifying new areas of opportunities that will drive Chewy's value and growth goals forward. You will coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and lead the changes to production, working across a variety of technologies and business verticals. Additionally, you will manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring the team's success in delivering high-quality data solutions.
