About the position

The Manager of MDM & Data Governance at Northwest Talent Solutions is a strategic leadership role focused on transforming the data strategy of a leading pharmaceutical/biotech client. This position involves designing and implementing enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) and governance frameworks to drive business value and ensure data quality standards that support strategic decision-making. The role requires collaboration with executive stakeholders and mentoring high-performing teams to foster a culture of data excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of the client's data strategy by designing and implementing enterprise-wide MDM and governance frameworks.
• Drive business value by establishing data quality standards that enable strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams while fostering a culture of data excellence and innovation.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to align data governance initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Architect solutions that ensure compliance while maximizing data utility across pharmaceutical and healthcare domains.

Requirements

• Track record of implementing successful MDM/Data Governance programs in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Expertise in managing healthcare data including HCP, HCO, EMR, and claims data.
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in AWS, Python, SQL, and big data technologies.
• Background in developing and executing data quality frameworks and automation strategies.
• Ability to build relationships across technical and business teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master's in Pharmacy or relevant domain preferred.
