The Data Science & Insights Manager will partner with business champions and leadership teams across the enterprise to drive improved decision making through the use and interpretation of data. This position will focus on existing and new processes to drive analytical data science solutions to enhance business insights in the organization. The Data Insights & Analytics Manager will lead all key initiatives and integrate data to drive business performance. This position will be responsible for project management and hands-on delivery to increase data driven results across the organization. This role will be responsible for applying machine learning to applications to increase the use of advanced analytics and foster data driven results that cannot be recognized using traditional methodologies and toolsets. All delivered solutions will directly or indirectly drive cost saving measures, increased profitability, or cash flow enhancements for the organization. This role will include hands on development activities in Azure ML, Databricks, and/or MS Power Platform as well as leading, coaching, and mentoring other analytics professionals. A Day In The Life includes hands on development and/or leading of assigned resources to deliver solutions using cloud-based technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure ML, and Enterprise Data Models. The manager will lead collaboration between analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization. They will partner with functional areas to ensure that reporting & analytics is driving insight that can be quantitatively measured and used with predictive analysis when applicable. The manager will lead project planning and resourcing activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan. They will recommend and integrate toolsets from vendors to provide seamless enterprise solutions regardless of the application. Proactively identifying changes in work scope and ensuring appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work, requirements, budget, and timeline is also a key responsibility. The manager will create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
