About the position

The Manager of Data Strategy, Products, and Management will lead efforts to design, build, and manage foundational data products that support analytics and business processes within the U.S. Commercial organization. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure data quality, compliance, and the effective use of data assets to drive business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal or external teams to design, build, and manage foundational data products for analytics and business processes.
  • Collect business requirements for data products and communicate them to Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Data Ingestion teams.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on key data assets within the Commercial Data Warehouse and ensure stakeholders understand necessary data for analytics and operations.
  • Partner with analytics stakeholders to design and execute critical analytics initiatives, ensuring data understanding and availability.
  • Identify new data sources with potential business impact and advocate for their acquisition.
  • Manage small to mid-size workstreams to ensure timely execution of high-quality deliverables.
  • Optimize current processes and implement data warehouse improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience managing data or data products.
  • Experience working with cross-functional internal or external teams on high-profile data and analytics projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical or healthcare data (Rx, Claims, Electronic Health Records, Specialty Pharmacies, CRM).
  • Experience working with marketing activity data.
  • 1+ years' experience with compliance requirements for working with data in a regulated industry.
  • Product management experience or certifications.
  • Experience within Software Development Lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies for technical product development and program/project management.
  • Cloud certification (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong hands-on technical skills (advanced SQL, Databricks, Python).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
