About the position

As a Manager in DevSecOps Engineering at PwC Product Sales LLC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients by developing technology and software solutions that address their unique challenges. Your primary focus will be on accelerating process change, ensuring that clients maximize their investments while driving business results and fostering innovation. You will assist clients in defining standard Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline patterns, which will include a common set of DevOps and SecOps tools tailored to their needs. In this position, you will advise clients on the proactive optimization of redundancies, monitoring and alerting practices, and identifying patterns that can enhance their operational efficiency. You will be responsible for managing the application ecosystem, which involves improving platform infrastructure and applications to ensure high reliability, resiliency, performance, and quality. Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships and professional networks will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, you will supervise and coach teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and development. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You will have the opportunity to work remotely for up to 80% of your time, although you must be able to commute to the designated local office as needed. The position also entails significant travel, with domestic and/or international travel requirements of up to 80%.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients in developing technology and software solutions to solve problems and drive business results.
  • Define standard CI/CD pipeline patterns that include a common set of DevOps and SecOps tools.
  • Advise clients on proactive optimization of redundancies, monitoring and alerting practices, and identifying patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields, plus 3 years of related work experience.
  • At least one year of experience designing solutions to meet support infrastructure requirements across a portfolio of analytic apps/business platforms.
  • Experience monitoring and reviewing processes to proactively manage needs and establish uptime, stability, and reliable access to apps/platforms.
  • Experience working with Docker and related containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and maintaining and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
