About the position
The Manager, Digital Analytics Implementation is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of digital analytics data collection across various corporate segments and business lines at Manulife. This role involves collaboration with digital product owners, channel owners, and marketers to ensure effective tagging and integration of marketing technology in alignment with measurement plans and business objectives. The manager will also partner with IT to enhance digital properties and drive efficiencies across the organization, while staying updated on advancements in digital analytics technology.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of digital analytics tools such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Analytics, and Tag Management Systems.
- Work closely with business analysts to define implementation requirements and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with IT on continuous development work and align initiatives on web properties.
- Develop, customize, and troubleshoot events and tags using JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of standards and practices for the digital analytics center of excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, etc.) or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in digital analytics implementation.
- Excellent oral and written English communication and presentation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS, or mobile app development.
- Advanced knowledge of tag management systems (DTM, Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten, etc.).
- Experience with digital analytics debugging tools and data layer maintenance.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining implementation design documents.
- Expertise in Adobe Analytics and related Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
- Membership in online subject matter communities such as #measure on Slack or Stack Overflow.
