About the position

Cartus is seeking a dynamic digital marketing maven and content creator with a B2B or enterprise product/service background to join our global branding and communications team. This role will report to the director of branding & communications. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cartus branding & communications team and cross-functional subject matter experts to develop both short- and long-form multichannel content aimed at supporting Cartus lead generation and nurturing activities. This includes creating blog posts, podcasts, white papers, survey reports, video scripts/storyboards, product marketing materials, webinars, and social media campaigns. In addition, the role involves collaborating with the Cartus web team and third-party agency partners to develop and manage buyer personas and journeys, lead generation and nurture strategies, and campaigns using our marketing/email automation platform. The candidate will also be responsible for optimizing the front-end UX/UI and back-end capabilities of cartus.com, managing SEO strategies, creating landing pages for digital campaigns, and updating content on the website. The position requires partnering with our external agency to build and refine paid media campaigns, coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver validated analytics and reporting around digital lead generation and web traffic, and researching the latest trends in digital marketing. The candidate will occasionally write and develop thought leadership content and may be required to proofread or edit content for other branding and communications deliverables. Travel for industry or team events may be required 1-2 times a year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop short- and long-form multichannel content to support lead generation and elevate industry thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with the branding & communications team and subject matter experts.
  • Manage buyer personas and journeys, lead generation, and nurture strategies using marketing automation.
  • Optimize cartus.com's front-end UX/UI and back-end capabilities.
  • Create landing pages for digital campaigns and update website content.
  • Partner with external agencies to build and refine paid media campaigns.
  • Deliver validated analytics and reporting around digital lead generation and web traffic.
  • Research and present on the latest trends in digital marketing.
  • Write and develop thought leadership content as needed.
  • Proofread and edit content for other branding and communications deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and content/strategy development.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in virtual presentations and written communications.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • 3+ years of experience writing and developing short- and long-form content across multiple formats and channels.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms such as Contentful, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • B2B or enterprise product/service experience.
  • Technical proficiency in digital media attribution and pixel tracking.
  • Comfort operating in a 99% virtual team environment using MS Teams.
  • Familiarity with digital project management/Kanban tools.
