About the position

The Manager: Digital Business Development and Sales at Barrington Media Group is responsible for driving inbound lead generation strategies and engaging in outbound sales to promote the company's digital performance marketing solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in consultative selling and a proven track record in digital marketing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and prospect potential clients using a structured approach to outbound sales.
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns leveraging email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions across Social Media Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Search Advertising, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Become an expert in digital performance marketing point solutions and present value propositions to decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and handover of new clients.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections to the Head of Sales.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to refine strategies and improve performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in inbound and outbound sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Social Media Marketing, CRO, Search Advertising, and SEO services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a consultative approach to selling.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms.
