About the position

The Digital Lifecycle Marketing Manager at the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy to connect consumers with the recreational boating industry. This role involves collaboration across various internal teams to enhance digital tactics, optimize website performance, and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns. The position requires a detail-oriented, technology-savvy individual who can analyze data to drive decision-making and improve engagement with target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Digital Marketing on all Boat Show, Discover Boating, NMMA.org, and B2B.DiscoverBoating.com website executions.
  • Assist with website content, SEO, design, UX, eCommerce, ads, promotions, and merchandising.
  • Assist with digital advertising, SEM, and social media tactics.
  • Plan and implement comprehensive email marketing campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to optimize digital tactics and meet/exceed KPI online boat show ticket revenue goals.
  • Identify and fill content gaps to enhance site performance.
  • Collaborate with the Web team to ensure healthy website infrastructure and performance.
  • Manage third-party vendors, partners, and creative agencies.
  • Participate in interdepartmental meetings with management teams.
  • Educate the industry on the latest digital trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, preferably Drupal.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, with certifications preferred.
  • Experience in using an email marketing platform or CRM, preferably Marketo.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with retail/event/association marketing.
  • Agency experience.
