About the position

The Manager - Digital Marketing & Community will focus on the growth of the central UMG Twitch channel and its associated platforms. This role is pivotal in developing strategies to enhance viewership and engagement through music-focused livestreams, while also building a community around the Twitch channel. The position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to optimize digital marketing efforts and ensure successful programming.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy to drive viewership of music-focused livestreams
  • Create and implement marketing plans on both a channel and per-stream basis
  • Set goals and campaign objectives around awareness, engagement, consumption, and conversion with measurable KPIs
  • Develop and execute a strategy to increase the audience and engagement of the 3point5 Twitch channel and its social channels
  • Track, analyze and utilize campaign social data and consumer behavior to optimize digital marketing efforts
  • Manage and develop social content across Discord, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms
  • Build a community around the Twitch channel consisting of native Twitch streamers and music superfans
  • Develop the brand voice and visual identity
  • Book programming for the livestreams by working with various labels and artist teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with label staff, artist management, and digital partners
  • Work closely with production & tech staff on project management and marketing efforts
  • Oversee part-time staff for social media and community development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support initiatives
  • Execute post-livestream content distribution strategy
  • Create reports, decks and pitches
  • Manage digital budgets across advertising and influencer campaigns
  • Participate in team meetings and planning activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge and expertise of social media, content, CRM, and the livestreaming space
  • Specific understanding of the music marketplace and typical marketing strategies
  • Well-developed knowledge of all social platforms and how to build connections with fans
