As the Manager of Digital Marketing for Hip-Hop and R&B at BMG, you will play a pivotal role in the award-winning global marketing team, focusing on artist campaigns and digital activations. This position is based in Los Angeles and reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee digital marketing campaigns for a diverse range of artists, particularly in the Hip-Hop and R&B genres. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Coordinator and work alongside various teams, including digital sales, streaming, and YouTube, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies. In this role, you will be tasked with crafting innovative social media strategies and coordinating digital advertising campaigns that resonate with audiences. You will also manage relationships with third-party partners for social media, content, and creative aspects of campaigns. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you provide reporting and analysis on campaign progress, identifying areas of success and opportunities for development. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and managing a team to support frontline recordings, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the overall US digital marketing strategy. Your work will involve constant communication with product managers and marketing teams to ensure that local repertoire is effectively promoted. You will contribute to the global digital marketing team by sharing learnings and experiences, assisting in team management, and being actively involved in product launches and store turns. A strong interest in Hip-Hop and R&B is highly preferred, as you will be closely liaising with artists in these genres.
