About the position

COTY is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager for Philosophy.com, a key role within the Digital team focused on optimizing digital marketing efforts. This position is crucial for strategizing, implementing, and maintaining the Klaviyo marketing automation system, aimed at enhancing customer engagement, driving conversions, and maximizing return on investment (ROI). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of marketing automation tools and a commitment to creating personalized and meaningful customer interactions. Reporting directly to the Director of Ecommerce, the Digital Marketing Manager will have significant responsibilities in driving the success of digital marketing initiatives. In this role, the Digital Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing automation strategies designed to nurture leads, increase customer retention, and drive conversions throughout the customer lifecycle. The manager will oversee the Klaviyo platform, creating automated campaigns, workflows, and personalized customer journeys. Responsibilities also include building and optimizing email and SMS marketing campaigns, designing templates, conducting A/B testing, and analyzing campaign performance metrics to enhance engagement and deliverability. Continuous monitoring and analysis of marketing automation processes will be essential, providing insights and recommendations for optimization while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in email marketing. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and product teams, to effectively segment audiences, create targeted content, and optimize workflows that align with business goals and customer needs. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing automation and Klaviyo will be necessary to suggest and implement innovative strategies that enhance campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing automation strategies to nurture leads, increase customer retention, and drive conversions throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Manage the marketing automation platform Klaviyo to create automated campaigns, workflows, and personalized customer journeys.
  • Build and optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns, including designing templates, A/B testing, and analyzing campaign performance metrics to improve engagement and deliverability.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze marketing automation processes, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in email marketing and automation processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and product teams, to segment audiences effectively, create targeted content, and optimize workflows that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing automation and with Klaviyo, suggesting and implementing innovative strategies to enhance campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing automation, CRM, or a related field, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or fashion industries.
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo.
  • Strong understanding of CRM principles, segmentation strategies, and customer journey mapping.
  • Experience in creating and optimizing email marketing campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
  • Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template design is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in beauty, specifically skincare.
