About the position

The Manager, Digital Marketing - SEO at Ovative Group is a leadership role focused on optimizing search strategies at an enterprise level. This position is pivotal in driving organic performance for high-profile clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, client management skills, and a deep understanding of SEO, contributing to the company's mission of redefining marketing success through innovative measurement and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute performance-driven SEO programs for clients.
  • Develop client program strategies and manage roadmaps.
  • Conduct technical audits and optimizations on large websites.
  • Perform on-page optimization activities including keyword research and metadata development.
  • Develop and execute content strategies, including content audits and gap analysis.
  • Optimize local programs using tools like Yext and Google Business Profile.
  • Automate reporting views within analytics platforms to identify key performance drivers.
  • Engage in off-page optimization activities such as link building and outreach.
  • Lead day-to-day management of client SEO programs across an enterprise client portfolio.
  • Communicate program performance effectively to various stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, defining objectives and KPIs.
  • Provide meaningful feedback and support to direct and indirect reports.
  • Foster a culture of open communication and team development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level SEO programs.
  • Proven track record of driving positive results through SEO initiatives.
  • Expertise in performance-based SEO strategies and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4, etc.).
  • Familiarity with visibility monitoring and auditing tools (STAT, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of crawling, indexing, and rendering factors.
  • Knowledge of schema.org structured markup and page speed optimizations.
  • Experience with local search optimization platforms (Yext, Rio, etc.).
  • Basic coding skills (HTML, JS) are a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing direct reports.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in performance marketing, retail, or eCommerce is preferred.
  • Understanding of paid search platforms and strategies.
