About the position

The Manager of Digital Marketing Technologies at Foley & Lardner LLP is responsible for leading the strategy and operational oversight of all digital marketing technologies to support the firm's marketing efforts. This role involves leveraging digital technology to enhance the firm's online presence, optimize content distribution, and drive competitive advantage through innovative technology solutions. The position requires collaboration with various teams and managing key marketing technology platforms, ensuring effective use and integration of these tools.

Responsibilities

  • Act as consultant, strategic director, and idea generator for all marketing technology platforms, optimizing usage and enhancing content distribution.
  • Serve as manager of web platform (Wordpress CMS), vendors, and agencies.
  • Manage functionality, data, reporting, and enhancements to the firm's email marketing system (Litera Concep).
  • Lead and participate in collaborative sessions to develop strategy around the use of technology, including AI platforms, in support of the BD&M and firm strategies.
  • Oversee cross-platform data integration (e.g. email, events, etc. into CRM) and usage.
  • Provide leadership on additional BD&M impacting technology initiatives, identifying future initiatives through updates to the Marketing Technology roadmaps.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key metrics measuring effectiveness of the firm's web properties, intranet, and other marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Assist with maintenance and enhancements to marketing technology platforms and provide user support.
  • Evaluate vendors and their products for compatibility with current and future tech stacks, serving as the primary conduit between Procurement and the BD&M team.
  • Lead efforts to improve search engine optimization (SEO) in key areas, consistent with firm goals and sector and practice initiatives.
  • Manage two direct reports (SEO/web and email).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with marketing technologies geared toward generating revenue required.
