About the position

The Manager, Digital Marketing at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is a full-time role responsible for supporting content development and digital campaigns across various Academy platforms. This position focuses on managing paid media campaigns, optimizing monetization efforts, and providing analytics and reporting to enhance the digital department's content strategy. The role requires collaboration with the digital operations lead and department head to ensure timely execution of content across all channels, thereby improving the brand's digital presence and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all paid media efforts related to social and content-driven ad campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with content strategy, social, and video teams to align with overall strategic objectives.
  • Lead the charge in optimizing and monetizing primarily on YouTube and Meta platforms.
  • Propose and oversee sweepstakes and giveaways, managing content development and analytical reporting.
  • Responsible for regular analytical reporting and content strategy reporting to drive strategic refinement.
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting on departmental performance across channels.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in digital platforms and technologies to keep the department at the forefront of content development.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads and other departments to strategize relevant content.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of social media or digital marketing experience.
  • Experience with paid media social campaigns.
  • Experience creating reports and manipulating data in Google Workspace.
  • Experience working with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.).
  • Competency in online analytics, specifically Sprout, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and Twitter Analytics.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience/comfort interfacing with partners, talent, and talent reps.
