About the position

As the Manager of Digital Marketing at Comcast, you will be responsible for leveraging various digital channels to promote Effectv, ensuring that our digital marketing strategies are effectively implemented to drive engagement and lead generation. This role encompasses a wide range of digital media, including search engines, content creation, and website optimization, aimed at increasing qualified visitors and enhancing user engagement on our Effectv website. You will be tasked with managing a team, providing subject matter guidance, and developing processes to improve departmental efficiencies while assisting in budget development and management. In this position, you will own key personalization strategies within the digital customer lifecycle experience, from off-site media to on-site interactions for strategic audience segments. You will define and socialize a strategic roadmap, ensuring buy-in from multiple stakeholders. Your role will also involve providing recommendations for content development aligned with search engine optimization goals, conducting keyword research, and producing comprehensive technical SEO analyses to create actionable optimization roadmaps. You will collaborate closely with the Paid Media Manager to develop and execute the marketing plan for the paid search program, ensuring that key performance indicators such as click-through rates, leads, and conversions are met. Additionally, you will oversee the digital marketing strategy for the website, develop relevant content, and create tactics to optimize the online experience. Your responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing marketing performance data from digital and paid media channels to inform strategic decisions, conceptualizing new content for lead capture, and auditing existing digital content for continuous improvement. As a leader, you will manage and mentor your team, ensuring that they consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters. You will be expected to maintain regular attendance, with the flexibility to work nights and weekends as necessary. This role is pivotal in driving Comcast's digital marketing efforts and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and strategy development.

Responsibilities

  • Own key personalization strategies within the digital customer lifecycle experience from off-site media to on-site for strategic audience segments.
  • Define strategic roadmap and socialize it to gain buy-in from multiple groups.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with search engine optimization goals.
  • Conduct keyword research in alignment with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
  • Produce comprehensive technical SEO analysis of website/assets to develop actionable optimization roadmaps.
  • Provide detailed reporting with insights and actionable next steps to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Paid Media Manager to develop the marketing plan for the paid search program and manage the budget to meet KPIs.
  • Drive overall program tactics in conjunction with paid search vendors and manage day-to-day optimizations.
  • Oversee the Digital Marketing Strategy on the website, develop relevant content, and create tactics to optimize the online experience.
  • Analyze and interpret marketing performance data from digital and paid media channels to inform strategy.
  • Conceptualize and develop new content to support website strategy for lead capture and conversion.
  • Audit digital content and identify improvements on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead coordination and production of new content for A/B tests and personalization on the website.
  • Collaborate with other content teams to share best practices and align on content themes.
  • Repurpose Thought Leadership content for digital channels.
  • Manage and mentor a team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business or related field.
  • 5-7 years related experience in Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, Marketing Strategy and Analytics, with B2B experience preferred.
  • 5+ years managing a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Experience developing presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven experience of successful collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience collaborating with teams in multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
