About the position

The Digital Advertising Manager at Learfield IMG College plays a pivotal role within the operations team, leading the Digital Marketing team to ensure the successful fulfillment, reporting, and analysis of marketing campaigns. This position is responsible for defining objectives, setting priorities, and establishing deadlines to meet both short-term and long-term goals. The Digital Advertising Manager is tasked with overseeing the success of each team member, ensuring that the digital marketing function is managed effectively through complex projects and initiatives. In this role, the manager will develop, execute, and lead the digital marketing strategy, particularly focusing on internal communication plans. Building and maintaining advanced stakeholder relationships is crucial, as the manager will serve as an experienced advisor to the marketing team, leadership, and clients on various digital marketing strategy topics. Participation in cross-functional meetings is expected, where the manager will provide specialized insights into digital advertising. The Digital Advertising Manager will also lead the team in ideation sessions aimed at increasing client brand awareness and engagement across multiple marketing platforms. Responsibilities include developing marketing collateral such as case studies, proposals, and RFP responses, as well as conducting market research to identify current trends and opportunities for expansion. The manager will actively share insights on campaign performance and serve as a resource for both internal teams and clients regarding digital marketing strategies. Additionally, the role involves copywriting, web design, and maintenance for various projects, managing social media and digital marketing campaigns, and developing performance reports to track campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the digital marketing function through complex projects and initiatives.
  • Develop, execute, and lead the digital marketing strategy of internal communication plans.
  • Build and maintain advanced stakeholder relationships and serve as an advisor on digital marketing strategy topics.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, providing a specialized digital advertising perspective.
  • Lead ideation sessions for increasing client brand awareness and engagement across marketing platforms.
  • Develop marketing collateral, including case studies, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Conduct market research to identify current trends and opportunities for expansion.
  • Develop case studies and share summaries of campaign performance and insights.
  • Serve as the internal and client resource for digital marketing strategy and identify new advertising opportunities.
  • Provide copywriting and web design/maintenance for various projects.
  • Schedule, implement, manage, and optimize social media and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop campaign performance reports and track necessary adjustments to meet campaign impressions.
  • Oversee social media accounts for various division entities.
  • Provide digital support for news staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in advertising or a closely related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in digital advertising and managing employees.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with programmatic display, paid social, and/or paid search.
  • Familiarity with business applications of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, and more.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Office.
  • Some experience developing ad graphics, editing video and audio.
  • Excellent grasp of digital and social media advertising principles.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing research, statistical analysis, and ability to compute basic media math.
  • Proficiency in web design and knowledge of WordPress web hosting platform.
