About the position

We are seeking a Manager of Influencer Marketing who will play a pivotal role in driving performance-based marketing initiatives through influencer and affiliate partnerships. This position is centered around executing omni-channel campaign activations that connect compelling storytelling with seamless buying solutions, ultimately aimed at enhancing mid-funnel conversions. The successful candidate will focus on building brand equity, targeting new customers, and efficiently growing revenue and traffic through strategic execution and analytical expertise. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key internal stakeholders, creators, influencers, brands, and strategic partners to create authentic storytelling that aligns with curated buying solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various teams including Content & Commerce, Social, Marketplace, and Media, as well as leads across Marketing & Creative. Your primary focus will be on managing critical strategic partnerships and spearheading cross-functional influencer activations that support overarching marketing initiatives. As part of the Content, Influencer, and Commerce Group, you will specifically target influencer affiliate partners to drive impactful marketing strategies. As a member of a fast-growing team, you will lead a comprehensive influencer strategy with a performance-driven mindset. This includes partnering with influencers and creators across diverse social platforms to create engaging consumer content that drives both consideration and conversion. You will also support channel strategy, which encompasses budgeting, commission rates, forecasting, partner strategy, and the execution of campaigns from start to finish. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines, including FTC disclosure requirements, is also a critical aspect of this role. Staying informed about changes in influencer marketing regulations and adjusting strategies accordingly will be essential. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you utilize data analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of influencer campaigns, partnering with internal data analytics and digital marketing teams to provide actionable insights for optimization. You will evaluate and report on the performance metrics of the influencer marketing channel for selected retail categories, offering strategic insights and recommendations based on data analytics to facilitate continuous improvement and inform future initiatives. Additionally, you will explore innovative ways to integrate influencer content and activations into cross-channel digital marketing and experiential activities, ensuring full-journey measurement objectives are met. Acting as both an external and internal advocate, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive programs forward.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advocate for influencer marketing initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Affiliate Marketing, Partnership or Business Development, Marketing/Advertising/Digital Media.
  • Direct experience in digital media, social/influencer networks, and ecommerce.
  • Data-driven with the ability to report on KPIs effectively.
  • Established industry relationships with media partners and influencer networks.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in launching new social and/or influencer campaigns successfully.
  • Knowledge of platform trends and measurement in the influencer marketing space.
