About the position

The Manager, Digital Media plays a crucial role within the Digital Media team at Peloton, focusing on the performance and execution of campaigns primarily across Search platforms, including PMAX, Demand Gen, and Apple Search Ads, as well as YouTube. This position requires a deep understanding of how Search and Online Video platforms operate, particularly how bids influence media performance and campaign efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive executional knowledge of acquisition media across Search, YouTube, and the broader Google ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for global channel ownership and execution of Peloton's Paid Search campaigns, which encompass text and shopping ads, PMax, and YouTube. Your daily responsibilities will include strategic forecasting, budget management, ongoing optimization, and weekly reporting, which involves creating and maintaining dashboards. You will also manage testing calendars, oversee creative management in collaboration with both internal teams and external agencies, and maintain relationships with publisher and agency partners. Additionally, you will handle media tag management and the activation of media, which includes optimization and budget management, as well as designing tests and experiments in partnership with our media agency. Your role will also involve audience planning, campaign management, optimization, measurement planning, and data application. You will drive improved performance through ad hoc analysis to assess how to enhance campaign performance on a weekly basis, manage campaign budgets, and provide recommendations for campaign optimization. A critical aspect of your job will be to evaluate data sources, inventory, and media platforms to create a competitive advantage. You will work closely with internal and external creative agencies to coordinate channel-specific creative, and you will have experience with A/B and multivariate testing, in-platform experiments, and optimizing landing pages and user funnels.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 4+ years proven expertise in Search and YouTube media execution.
  • Deep AdWords experience.
  • Experience in SA360 and DV360 is a plus.
  • Mobile Measurement Partner/MMP experience preferred (AppsFlyer).
  • Knowledge of the ad tech landscape, including event management (GTM or Segment), audience platforms, measurement, and creative tools/DCO for social channels.
  • Experience in acquisition, retail, or e-commerce campaign management.
  • Familiarity with working in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with A/B, multivariate, incrementality, and conversion lift testing.
  • Excellent skills in data-driven analysis.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Significant media-specific spreadsheet experience (pivot tables, vlookups, media formulas).
  • A clear understanding of pacing, flighting, and nuances of leading channel-specific budgets.
  • Experience with Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides is a plus.
