About the position

The DPC Lead - Product Development + Fabric R&D at Gap is responsible for supporting the Digital Product Creation (DPC) team in all aspects of the DPC creation strategy, process, and training. This role requires a strong technological vision and a genuine interest in digital innovation, particularly in 3D technology. The DPC Lead will assist in developing training materials, streamlining digital workflows, and managing vendor relationships while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of DPC training materials and training sessions for Product Development + Fabric R&D teams.
  • Identify areas of training improvement for further upskilling.
  • Develop a strong DPC onboarding experience for high user system adoption and skill levels.
  • Streamline and recommend efficiencies in digital workflows as they arise.
  • Support in Change Management approach and strategy, including communication of the DPC program.
  • Identify new ways of working to improve the P2M calendar.
  • Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) to develop new processes, system enhancements, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with brand and cross-brand peers to define and articulate the DPC strategy.
  • Manage vendor relationships, Digital Quality Standards, and future process improvements in partnership with the GIS DPC team.
  • Participate in cross-brand, internal team, and third-party solution meetings.
  • Test system beta upgrades for DPC tools to ensure functionality.
  • Identify and track DPC asset KPIs, progress, and deliverables.
  • Organize and update digital libraries as they evolve.

Requirements

  • Experience in Product Development or Fabric R&D at a medium to large company.
  • Excellent skills in the creation and delivery of process training.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence within an organization.
  • Extremely organized with experience in project management and documentation.
  • High eagerness to learn new technology and create new ways of working via technology.
  • Ability to switch between projects with high ambiguity and reprioritize deliverables as needed.
  • Problem-solver and solution-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at presenting information and storytelling.
  • Ability to assess complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions.

  • General awareness of 3D Design tools is preferred.
