About the position

The School Operations & Logistics Manager at New Paradigm for Education is responsible for overseeing schoolwide operations across two PreK-12 buildings. This role focuses on managing non-instructional functions and services to allow school leaders to concentrate on teaching and student achievement. The manager will implement policies and systems to ensure operational excellence while fostering a culture of service and support within the school community.

Responsibilities

  • Create and monitor systems for smooth execution of student recruitment, enrollment, and records management.
  • Manage recruitment events and school promotions.
  • Train the Registrar and oversee the student enrollment process from start to finish.
  • Ensure strong student records are maintained and requests for records are managed timely.
  • Manage automobile traffic around the campus, creating systems for arrival/dismissal and engaging volunteers.
  • Train and manage School Resource Officers to ensure a safe school environment.
  • Manage relationships with security contractors and student transportation providers.
  • Oversee after school programming, including managing coordinators and creating systems for programming.
  • Manage a K-12 calendar for after school and athletic programming to avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Train and manage support staff, ensuring they complete job responsibilities effectively.
  • Ensure a strong crisis response plan is in place and that staff receive appropriate training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of experience in a school setting with a focus on school operations.
  • 2+ years of experience managing adults.
