About the position
The Dispensary Operations Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb plays a critical role in the Clinical Drug Product Supply Chain Operations team. This position is responsible for overseeing the order processing and dispensing of raw materials and drug products to various manufacturing and packaging operations. The manager ensures high customer service standards, effective task assignment to Pharmaceutical Development Technicians (PDTs), and compliance with inventory accuracy and operational procedures. This role is pivotal in maintaining a professional and audit-ready environment while supporting process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee order processing and dispensing of raw materials and drug products.
- Ensure high customer service is provided to all customers.
- Assign dispensary orders and tasks to Pharmaceutical Development Technicians (PDTs).
- Train PDTs for their tasks and hold them accountable for adherence to procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy in the Drug Product Supply Chain warehouses.
- Track dispensing volume, cycle time, and related details in the dispensary log.
- Ensure dispensaries are maintained in an audit-ready state.
- Report Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data for Clinical Operations Dispensaries.
- Support process improvement and productivity initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a biopharma manufacturing environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- GMP/GDP experience highly preferred.
