About the position

Lighthouse Professional Services, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions group, is seeking a Manager of Email Marketing for a fully remote position. This temporary role is responsible for the comprehensive management of both B2C and B2B email marketing programs, utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud to target existing customers and prospects. The successful candidate will collaborate with in-house business partners and external agencies to strategize, execute, and report on the effectiveness of consumer and commercial email campaigns that align with the strategic objectives of the business. This role requires a deep understanding of list management, compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations, and the ability to maximize the use of email channels through effective automation and journey-based strategies. The Manager of Email Marketing will be tasked with planning, developing, and implementing email campaigns that consider the entire customer journey across various channels. The goal is to drive engagement and improve conversion rates among customers and prospects. This includes developing marketing plans, tactics, and testing strategies for both one-time and ongoing campaigns, leveraging insights from previous campaigns, competitive research, and email marketing best practices. The role also involves scaling and enhancing email campaign performance through automation, journey building, and triggered campaigns. In addition to campaign management, the Manager will represent the email marketing team in meetings, providing updates on campaign performance and strategic recommendations. Ensuring the accuracy of list data, data integrity, segmentation, and compliance with opt-out requests is crucial. The role requires collaboration with other marketing channels, analytics, and IT teams to create scalable, automated, and personalized customer lifecycle journeys. The Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining custom reports and dashboards, leading quality assurance for emails, and coordinating with design, copy, and strategy teams to support campaigns. Compliance with legal and regulatory standards is a key aspect of this position, necessitating close collaboration with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and implement email campaigns targeting line of business clients.
  • Develop email marketing plans, tactics, and testing for campaigns with internal and external partners.
  • Scale and improve email campaign performance through automations and triggered campaigns.
  • Represent the email marketing team in meetings to report on campaigns and provide strategic advice.
  • Ensure accuracy of list data, data integrity, segmentation, and timely scrubs of opt-outs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create scalable, automated, personalized customer lifecycle journeys.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards for email campaigns.
  • Lead quality assurance of emails and campaign coordination with design, copy, and strategy teams.
  • Create and manage email campaign calendars on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop testing agendas for email programs in support of all lines of business.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in direct marketing and email marketing.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a B2C and/or B2B environment.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Marketing background with copywriting experience preferred.
  • Candidates with advanced degrees preferred; a High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent oral, written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
