About the position

The Manager, Email Marketing at Preferred Travel Group is responsible for building and executing email communications aimed at driving customer acquisition, engagement, revenue, and conversions. This role involves managing brand-level email campaigns, ensuring quality and accuracy, and collaborating with various internal departments and digital agencies to support marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end execution of email campaigns, including HTML build, edit, QA, deployment, and reporting.
  • Implement process controls and procedures to ensure campaigns are executed on schedule and without error.
  • Perform end-to-end quality checks, ensuring content accuracy, links, landing page functionality, and segmentation.
  • Use database management skills to segment our audience for email targeting.
  • Build out relevant triggered programs based on behavior data.
  • Ideate and execute A/B testing and analyze results to determine actionable opportunities and best practices.
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email.
  • Manage internal email calendar and channel strategy to drive increase revenue and traffic goals.
  • Develop and continuously improve segmentation strategies within CRM systems to increase retention opportunities.
  • Implement detailed customer journey flows with email trigger points to drive customer loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Work with the eCommerce Manager to improve customer UX from email to booking point.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all email communications and offer ongoing training to team members.
  • Assist in other eCommerce related projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on email production & management experience is required.
  • Dynamic scripting experience is desired.
  • Fluent in HTML/CSS.
  • Systematic approach to data management and segmentation.
  • Strong communication, relationship, project, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Expert understanding of CAN-SPAM and email regulatory compliance is required.
  • Experience with Epsilon People Cloud Messaging is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large number of email programs simultaneously.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communication studies or a related major is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range: USD $72,000-85,000 annually; actual compensation will be determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise.
