About the position

The Manager of Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity at INTEGRIS Health is responsible for overseeing the coordination and implementation of emergency preparedness standards across the health system. This role involves managing disaster response activities, conducting hazard vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. The manager will also lead training and education initiatives, collaborate with facility leadership, and represent the organization in various preparedness committees.

Responsibilities

• Manage the coordination and implementation of emergency preparedness standards.
• Conduct annual hazard vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Develop and maintain emergency plans and procedures for identified disasters.
• Coordinate education and exercises to ensure organized disaster response.
• Manage the activation of individual facility emergency operations plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations related to emergency management planning.
• Develop and prepare reports fulfilling grant contract requirements.
• Manage the emergency preparedness budget and ensure FEMA reimbursement is captured.
• Conduct systemwide education and training needs assessments.
• Develop policies and procedures for compliance and program implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Certification as Certified Emergency Manager within 2 years of hire.
• 3 years of experience in Emergency Management functions preferred.
• 2 years of experience dealing with regulatory agencies such as JCAHO, OSHA, FEMA, etc.
