Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive Human Resources support and guidance to the leadership at BlueOval Battery Michigan. This includes the planning, development, launch, and implementation of business strategies that align with the company's goals. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that Human Resources processes and procedures are aligned to create a competitive framework for battery manufacturing while enhancing employee experiences. In this position, you will build strategic alignment with partners on the HR Delivery Model, driving process improvements and efficiencies to support high-quality employee relations. You will assure the quality of assigned employee relations programs, including engagement surveys, and collaborate cross-functionally to further the goals of the company and the Employee Relations team. Your expertise will be essential in advising on complex HR matters, ranging from employee concerns to disputes, ensuring resolution from inception to conclusion. Additionally, you will support various HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development, and Total Rewards, while utilizing data and metrics to identify employee trends and inform policy improvements. You will also be responsible for scanning the external environment for regulations and best practices, proactively informing continuous improvement actions within the organization. This role requires strong capabilities in leading transformational change, innovation, critical thinking, and resourcefulness, along with a drive for results and a sense of urgency. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely will be vital in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Human Resources support and guidance to BlueOval Battery Michigan leadership.
  • Assist in planning, development, launch, and implementation of business strategy.
  • Gain alignment in related Human Resources processes and procedures.
  • Build strategic alignment with partners on the HR Delivery Model.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies to support employee relations.
  • Assure the quality of assigned employee relations programs and processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to further company and Employee Relations goals.
  • Advise on complex HR matters from inception to resolution.
  • Support Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development, Employee Relations, and Total Rewards.
  • Utilize data and metrics to identify employee trends and inform improvements.
  • Scan the external environment for regulations and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years experience in Human Resources processes including compensation planning, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior Human Resources experience in Manufacturing settings.
