About the position

The Manager of Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing at the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) is responsible for enhancing the organization's employer brand and executing innovative recruitment marketing strategies. This role aims to attract, cultivate, and nurture a robust pipeline of qualified talent while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization. The position requires a strategic approach to recruitment marketing, leveraging digital channels and data analytics to optimize candidate engagement and improve hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance UMMS's employer brand and execute recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Stay current on industry trends to inform innovative strategies.
  • Drive recruitment marketing tactics using digital marketing channels, SEO/SEM strategies, and social media advertising.
  • Lead social media efforts for talent acquisition and manage community reputation.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to align social media strategies and manage content calendars.
  • Influence and collaborate with web SEO teams and third-party vendors to drive recruitment strategy.
  • Showcase the employer brand and ensure a seamless user experience for candidates.
  • Develop compelling employer brand materials and messaging.
  • Monitor key performance metrics related to recruitment marketing initiatives and analyze data for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in recruitment marketing, employer branding, or talent acquisition.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology platforms.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting employer branding materials.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a large, matrixed environment and work collaboratively.
