About the position

The Manager of Engineering and Maintenance at Americold Logistics is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance activities within a refrigerated warehouse. This role involves planning and coordinating the work of refrigeration, maintenance, and forklift associates to ensure safe and effective operations. The manager will direct the installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems, while also ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify current and future maintenance requirements.
  • Prepare an annual maintenance budget and schedule expenditures while analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Determine work priorities and schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure operational productivity.
  • Design, implement, and modify preventive maintenance programs based on production, quality control, and maintenance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and PSM requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Completion of all eight (8) RETA courses.
  • HAZMAT certification.
  • Five to eight years in warehouse maintenance management experience.
  • Three years of general supervisory/management experience.
