About the position

The Manager, Engineering - Facility at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital is responsible for organizing and managing work requests and projects related to facility services. This role involves customer coordination, project estimation, and scheduling work to ensure timely completion by both in-house and contractor personnel. The manager will also be tasked with reporting on work order completion, preventive maintenance, and project status, while fostering a teamwork-oriented environment and ensuring operational integrity and compliance across all facilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage work requests and projects within a defined area of responsibility.
• Provide customer coordination, project estimation, and scheduling work for completion by in-house and contractor personnel.
• Report on work order completion, preventive maintenance, and project status.
• Develop, monitor, and track the effectiveness of customer service to patients, visitors, and employees.
• Establish and maintain communication with all levels of administration and employees.
• Maintain a participative, teamwork-oriented environment with recognition programs and training initiatives.
• Provide direction, guidance, and overall management to ensure operational integrity and compliance of all facilities.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in facility equipment service and maintenance.
