About the position

The Apple Services Engineering team is seeking an experienced manager to lead a team of Engineering Program Managers (EPM) focused on executing engineering projects and programs for Apple's Video business. This role involves partnering with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver exceptional products while navigating significant ambiguity in project management. The manager will oversee all aspects of project management, including scoping, requirements gathering, solution design, timeline proposals, and communication with executive audiences. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineering Program Managers (EPM) in executing engineering projects for the Video business.
• Partner with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver exceptional products.
• Oversee project management activities including scoping, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Propose timelines and manage project planning and reporting.
• Communicate project status and updates to executive audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Data Science, Client and Server Engineering, and Quality Assurance.

Requirements

• Experience leading or managing technical programs.
• Technical project/program management experience or equivalent.
• Understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
• Strong facilitation skills to drive complex, cross-functional project plans.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
