About the position

The SEO Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including GEO and Local SEO, across multiple Charter domains and platforms. This role involves analyzing performance metrics, providing actionable insights, and coordinating with content teams to ensure alignment with broader marketing efforts. The SEO Manager oversees day-to-day SEO operations, manages projects, and supports the SEO Lead in refining strategies to enhance search visibility and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of on/off page SEO strategies including Local SEO and GEO.
  • Develop and execute SEO content strategies to enhance search visibility and accuracy of Spectrum products and services.
  • Coordinate with content teams to align SEO strategies with content creation and distribution.
  • Analyze SEO performance data, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage day-to-day SEO operations, including site performance, keyword research, and link-building efforts.
  • Integrate competitive landscape insights into SEO strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with creative and paid search/media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy.
  • Oversee the execution of SEO campaigns and initiatives, ensuring timely implementation.
  • Develop and present reports on SEO performance, including metrics related to structured data and competitive landscape.
  • Advocate for best practices in SEO and structured data across the organization.
  • Support the SEO Lead in developing and refining SEO strategies and roadmaps.
  • Ensure compliance of SEO efforts with search engine guidelines and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to the SEO Specialist in executing tasks and projects.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies related to SEO and structured data.
  • Facilitate communication between SEO and other departments to align strategies and goals.
  • Review and analyze the impact of structured data and competitive insights on SEO performance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and tools for SEO and competitive analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in front- and back-end search engine optimization with ownership over site performance.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Collaborative, curious, creative, analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work proactively and think creatively across diverse groups.
  • Willingness to experiment with new techniques and analyze results.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive efforts to meet website traffic goals and KPI targets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in visual communication and presentation.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to the changing web environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex critical issues.
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Continuous improvement mindset for SEO/GEO tactics.
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with website analytics applications and SEO tools such as Semrush and Google Search Console.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, brand messaging, and customer experience best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics preferred.
  • Experience in technical SEO practices and SEO content development.
