About The Position

The Manager, Enterprise Services Risk at Capital One is responsible for overseeing risk management processes within the Enterprise Data (eData) team. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and enhance risk reporting. The successful candidate will act as a change agent, leveraging their analytical and communication skills to influence business partners and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in process management or risk management.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in process management or risk management, specifically with data management at an enterprise level.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional projects and programs, specifically in a Data Ecosystem.
  • 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry, including familiarity with regulatory practices.
  • 1+ years of experience in process development, documentation, and improvement experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in controls development, controls management, and reporting activities.
  • Industry Data Management or Data Risk/Security related certification including CDMP, CISM, CRISC, or CIPP.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the eData risk team in the development and execution of the Syndicat risk office vision and deliver on enterprise and team objectives.
  • Collaborate with eData Product and Tech teams to identify and develop risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Develop and deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications.
  • Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables for effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups.
  • Continuously seek improvements and innovations in risk management processes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Enterprise Services process owners, process managers, and vertical risk advisors.
