About the position

The Manager, Environmental Health & Safety is responsible for overseeing the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at the Beloit manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies, while also providing leadership and development in environmental health and safety matters. The position requires the establishment and implementation of safety programs, guidance on regulatory compliance, and fostering a safety culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and develops site operation specific Health and Safety programs and drives implementation.
• Provides guidance and information to Supervision and Management regarding regulatory compliance and hazard prevention.
• Performs Operational Hazard assessments and recommends corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Trains personnel on mandatory OSHA compliance training and Operational Hazard specific training.
• Leads injury management and response, supporting Workers' Compensation claims management.
• Champions efforts to foster a safety culture and employee engagement consistent with Campbell's Corporate Safety Strategy.
• Manages site environmental programs and ensures permit compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety with manufacturing experience
• ASP (Associate Safety Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
• OSHA 10/30 certification
