About the position

The Manager of Epic Clinical Application Services at HCA Healthcare is responsible for leading a team of Epic Analysts and Architects, focusing on optimizing services, supporting upgrades, and ensuring long-term service center support. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to drive priorities, manage resource allocations, and maintain client relationships, all while fostering a high-performing team in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set direction and lead a team of Epic Analysts and Architects.
• Drive optimization, upgrades, and long-term service center support initiatives.
• Manage resource allocations and develop product service lines.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders and vendors.
• Oversee staffing, recruiting, and engagement of employees.
• Participate in personal leadership development and succession planning.
• Conduct performance reviews and regular team meetings.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
• Manage new and ongoing client relationships and engagements.
• Participate in sales proposals and contract development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong experience in implementation, consulting, and selling within a healthcare/IT market.
• Direct experience building and supporting Epic software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with process improvement/re-engineering.
• Knowledge of JCAHO, HIPAA, ACR, MQSA and other regulatory guidelines.
