About The Position
An Epic Manager is responsible for the high-level success of one or more teams providing implementation and production support for nephrology practices using the Epic CKD and related products. This includes product, project, resource, and time management as well as coaching, training, organizing, planning, and budgeting. This individual will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper usage and acceptance of the CKD system. This role specifically will oversee four team members who support the user, security, and provisioning process. This role includes responsibility over all aspects of the process by which new users are added to Epic. DaVita Physicians Solutions has established a partnership with Epic, the market leader in Electronic Health Records (EHRs), with the goal of maximizing physician satisfaction and improving the quality outcomes of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients. The tools and support the team delivers are used by nephrology practices to manage CKD patient populations in promoting better outcomes and interoperability, while improving physician experience and aiding in revenue cycle practice management. DaVita Physician Solutions CKD EHR by Epic, is offered to nephrology practices that are independently owned and operated. Many of these practices are smaller than typical Epic customers and value independence while leveraging the best available industry technology.
