About the position

The Equipment Manager at Venture Global LNG is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective execution of equipment management duties at the company's Louisiana-based export projects. This role involves planning, scheduling, and budgeting for equipment utilization, ensuring reliability and operational efficiency while supporting the company's commitment to providing low-cost American-produced liquefied natural gas.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, scheduling and budgeting for the maximized utilization of the equipment fleet.
  • Forecast equipment and fuel usage based on project requirements and timelines.
  • Address day-to-day and long-term fleet related issues focused on improved equipment reliability.
  • Track planned vs actual equipment numbers on site based on the forecasted equipment plan.
  • Track and review equipment usage on site based on actual working hours vs idle hours.
  • Review and maintain all pre-inspection logs of onsite equipment.
  • Monitor and track fuel consumption on site, as well as forecast project fuel consumption throughout each phase of the job.
  • Coordinate general equipment operations (i.e., heavy lift, heavy crane movement) between all site area Directors and contractors.
  • Monitor equipment downtime and repair time.
  • Oversee the maintenance, inventory, and calibration of tools.
  • Manage tools rooms, including tool room attendants, tracking tools, and tool maintenance during the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or commensurate work experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in construction required.
  • Extensive knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, track and communicate project plan steps and actions.
